Sean is a seasoned banking professional with over 35 years of experience in commercial banking, specializing in consumer and small business lending. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from Howard University, earned in 1987. Throughout his career, Sean has been a dedicated advocate for financial education within social and faith-based organizations in the metro DC area. He actively promotes financial literacy by teaching and collaborating with various non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the small business coach and T/A advisor for Baltimore Community Lending, Sean remains committed to empowering individuals and communities through financial education. Recognizing the transformative power of financial literacy, Sean is passionate about helping individuals and families move from poverty to prosperity.
He believes in fostering financial dignity by equipping individuals with the knowledge to manage money, credit, debt, and risk effectively. Sean's approach focuses on educating clients, assisting them in overcoming financial challenges, and guiding them towards achieving their financial goals. To better serve a diverse clientele, Sean holds several designations and certifications, including Investment Adviser Representative (Series 65), AFCPE® Accredited Financial Counselor, and Credit Union National Association (CCUFC). Beyond his professional endeavors, Sean and his wife Lori, married for 34 years, have developed seminars to help couples establish healthy financial stewardship and wealth creation practices.
